Kindergarten Inquiry - Our Place in Space

Updated: Oct 2, 2023

Written by Ms Francheska, Kindergarten teacher

While learning about all things related to space exploration, students have worked hard constructing class rocket ships using recycled materials and boxes as part of their current inquiry and investigation.

This collaborative project has become an important role play resource for the students as they used their command center, rocket ship, and other space related resources to blast into space, sharing their imaginative experiences with one another, discussing what they saw from the rocketship and in their astronaut suits.

Each class worked together on this exciting project, choosing specific colours as a group and painting beside one another. This experience has not only facilitated the acquisition of knowledge, but has also promoted a sense of unity and shared accomplishment amongst the Kindergarten community.
